Privacy

This page explains what happens to the email address you give us, and nothing else. The site collects no other personal data.

Who is responsible

Echoes Editions is a brand of Edit S.r.l.s., Via Paradigna 61, 43122 Parma, Italy — VAT / P. IVA 03140920343. Edit S.r.l.s. is the data controller.

For anything on this page, including the requests described below, write to info@echoeseditions.it. Certified mail: edit@pec.echoeseditions.it.

What we collect

Your email address, and the date and time you gave it. Nothing more. There is no account, no profile, no purchase history.

Why we collect it

To send you the first chapter and the editorial communications that follow it. That is the only purpose.

Legal basis

Your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You give it by ticking the box on the subscription form. We use double opt-in: the first email you receive asks you to confirm, and until you do, nothing else is sent.

Who else sees it

Our email platform, HubSpot, Inc., which stores and sends the messages on our behalf as a data processor. HubSpot may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. No one else receives your address, and we neither sell nor share it.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or after two years of no interaction with our emails, whichever comes first. After that the address is deleted.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you may ask us to:

You can withdraw your consent at any time, with no consequence other than that we stop writing to you. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. Write to info@echoeseditions.it to exercise any of these rights.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing is stored on your device.

Keep this section true. The moment HubSpot tracking, analytics or a pixel is added, this paragraph becomes false and a consent banner becomes mandatory before those scripts load.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page.
